Couples Therapy

Couples Therapy

As a kink-informed, sex-positive, and relationship-diverse affirming couples therapist, I welcome partners across the spectrum of sexual, romantic, and gender identities. I work with monogamous, non-monogamous, and open relationships, as well as LGBTQIA+ and asexual-spectrum individuals and couples. I also support partners navigating gender transition and the changes it can bring to identity, intimacy, communication, family relationships, and connection. My goal is to help couples create relationships that reflect their values, identities, and needs rather than societal expectations.

Whether you are feeling stuck in the same arguments, struggling to communicate, rebuilding trust, navigating differences in intimacy or desire, exploring relationship structures, or adapting to significant life changes, therapy can provide a space to slow down, feel heard, and better understand yourselves and one another.

I approach couples therapy with the understanding that relationship challenges rarely arise from one person’s shortcomings. Many couples find themselves struggling under the weight of stress, painful experiences, life transitions, cultural expectations, or patterns that developed as ways of coping and surviving. Rather than focusing on blame, we work together to understand what is happening beneath the surface, strengthen emotional safety, and identify new ways of relating that support connection, authenticity, and mutual care. My hope is that therapy helps you build a relationship that feels more aligned with your values and supportive of each partner’s growth and well-being.
